Adoption Assistance

After one full year of employment, Gordon Food Service provides a reimbursement for eligible expenses involved in the adoption of a child under the age of 18. The adoption reimbursement benefit is $10,000.

Tuition Reimbursement

Gordon Food Service understands the importance of education, and we also understand the cost! Whether you’re going back to school to get your GED or pursuing college classes, GFS is here to help – And it doesn’t stop there! GFS also offers tuition reimbursement for your spouse and dependent child(ren).

Elder Care

Gordon Food Service offers employees access to back-up care through the Bright Horizons care network. Gordon Food Service employees have access to the Bright Horizons network of childcare centers as well as access to in-home childcare and eldercare through the Sittercity platform. Employees are eligible for up to 10 back-up care uses annually, with only a copay of $15 for one child, $25 for two or more children when using Bright Horizons center care, and a co-pay of $6 per hour when using in-home care. 95 percent of Gordon Food Service employees have a Bright Horizons care center near their home. In the event that you do not, you are eligible for reimbursed backup care of $100 per day.
